Cooperation in the development of offshore wind power projects in Vietnam

Ørsted Group (Denmark) and PTSC Marine Mechanical Services Company Limited (PTSC M&C) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch cooperation in offshore wind power projects.

The signing ceremony was held at PTSC M&C's manufacturing facility in Ba Ria - Vung Tau with the participation of representatives of the local government of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, and other partners.

This partnership aims to provide state-of-the-art offshore substations for the portfolio of multi-gigawatt offshore wind projects proposed by the Ørsted consortium and T&T (Vietnam) to provide clean energy. and reliable for Vietnam, helping the country achieve zero emissions by 2050. In addition to the domestic aspect, this cooperation also has export implications for supporting the portfolio of wind power projects—Orsted's large-scale global offshore.

Orsted and T&T consortium are working together with a large number of domestic partners and suppliers to implement offshore wind power projects in Vietnam, with the goal of one project in the South Central region.
